Privacy Policy

This is the Web site of the SIP Forum. We can be reached via e-mail at info@sipforum.org. The SIP Forum is concerned about the privacy of its users and is committed to protecting their personal information.

For each visitor to our Web site, our Web server automatically recognizes information regarding the domain address of the visitor. We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages visitors access or visit and information volunteered by the visitor, such as survey information, inquiries, and/or site registrations.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web site, and for our own information about overall Forum interest and site traffic. We do not at any time share the information we receive about or from visitors to our Web site with any other company or organization. Such information would only be disclosed as required by law.

Visitors that choose to register on our website are automatically subscribed to our mailing list discussion@sipforum.org. Visitors can also choose to sign up for our other mailing lists.

Any person subscribed to a mailing list:

  • Will receive a monthly email reminder containing a listing of the mailing lists to which they are subscribed, and the password required to edit their list preferences, or to unsubscribe.

The SIP Forum works with several external service providers to handle registration and payments for the SIPit and other SIP Forum-sponsored events:

  • Regonline.com provides registration and web forms for payment of event fees;
  • We use a credit card gateway provider (external to Regonline) to process the financial transactions between registrants and our merchant account.

No personal financial or other attendance information is stored on the SIP Forum’s site; it is all stored at the sites of these providers.

Please contact us at info@sipforum.org if you have any other questions about our privacy policy.
