Bryan Smith is the Vice President of Product Management at First Orion. Brian brings a wealth of product marketing experience with a demonstrated history of working in telecom and health/fitness industry.
Bryan is skilled in Product Lifecycle Management, Mobile Applications, Web Services, Product Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Experience.
As the Director of Solution Design and Support within First Orion’s Global Telecom Division, Tracey oversees the design, product management, and support of the company’s Call Protection and STIR/SHAKEN solution suite. She represents First Orion as a key member of many industry forums with specific interest in the ATIS-IPNNI working group.
Tracey joined First Orion in July of 2019 and has spent a robust 22 years in the telecom industry, where her last endeavor included leading the implementation, integration, and support for Verizon’s “LTE in Rural America” program. Prior to that, Tracey was responsible for leading the integration efforts for several telecom acquisitions and divestitures for both Verizon and Alltel. Tracey is a coach and mentor at heart. With a love for her three children and sports, she spends her spare time either on a baseball field or a basketball court coaching her 8-year-old son.
Nysia George is the Associate Director of Data Science at First Orion. She leads a team of data scientists delivering innovative in-network, real-time solutions to identify scam calls for a major US carrier. Prior to joining First Orion, Nysia was a mathematical statistician at the US FDA’s National Center for Toxicological Research. During her tenure, she developed statistical methods and bioinformatics tools for high-dimensional data analysis. She authored and co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles in areas including method development for genomic data analysis, physiologically based pharmacokinetics modeling, and cardiovascular disease risk assessment. Nysia has played a pivotal role in mentoring young scientists through apprentice programs, summer research programs, online teaching, and tutoring in the community. She holds a doctorate in statistics and a bachelor’s in applied mathematics from Texas A&M University.
Julie Fowler is the Director, Solution Design and Technical Sales at First Orion. With her in-depth experience in all aspects of the software lifecycle, she is a key solution architect for First Orion’s STIR/SHAKEN solution and other critical initiatives for their service provider customers. She is also heavily involved in technical sales, the development of new product ideas as well as proof of concepts.
Julie brings with her extensive telecommunications experience and expertise gained from roles at AT&T, T-Mobile, and Zhone Technologies, Ltd. Julie holds multiple degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. When not working, Julie enjoys traveling participating in sports.
