SIP Forum BoilerplateThe following backgrounder on the SIP Forum is for use in press releases and various corporate announcements:
About The SIP Forum The SIP Forum is an IP communications industry association that engages in numerous activities that advance and promote SIP technology, such as the development of industry recommendations, the SIPit interoperability and testing events, special interoperability workshops, and general promotion of SIP in the industry. One of the Forum's recent technical activities is the development of the SIPconnect Technical Recommendation -- a standards-based recommendation that provides detailed guidelines for direct IP peering and interoperability between IP PBXs and VoIP service provider networks, and the SIPconnect Compliant Certification Program through which eligible companies can gain SIPconnect validation and the right to license the use of the SIP Forum's 'SIPconnect Compliant' certification mark -- the official brand of the leading standard for SIP Trunking products and services. For more information, please visit: http://www.sipforum.org.
Logos and GraphicsAll logos are with white matte anti-aliasing. You can request an image with a different anti-aliasing background. The title of the graphic is above the graphic itself. Each graphic is available in three versions: jpg, gif, and eps.
Please note that the use of the SIPconnect Compliant and SIPconnect Certified Certification Mark is restricted to only those companies that have applied to the program and have been approved by the SIP Forum as being SIPconnect Compliant. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited. If you require black and white or gray-scale versions of the SIPconnect Compliant logos, or any other SIP Forum logo, please contact Marc Robins, SIP Forum Managing Director, at marc.robins "at" sipforum "dot" org, or call +1-718-548-7245.
