I'm not sure what "use it for load balancing" means, exactly.  After all, the 
provider can encode whatever parameters it wants to in DNS SRV.  It
might decide to provide load balancing in its SRV RRs, or it might not. 

All that really matters is that the SRV RRs conform the DNS SRV
specification, RFC 2782, as well as to RFC 3263.
