[SIPForum-techwg] Media line Transparency

I thought SIPConnect was intended to improve the situation, and make more
implementations behave consistently and well.

Thus: Let through unknown media.

Oh I was only saying it will be passed through much of the time - not that
it will "work".  There appear to be many Gateways, PBX's, and endpoints
which can't handle media lines they don't support/understand. (ie, they
reject the call instead of setting the port to 0 in the SDP answer)  So some
operators configure their SBC's to remove unknown types.
It's kind of sad, really.
