[SIPForum-techwg] Sorry about the "birthday" spam....; switching to subscription moderation

Try as I might, I can't see any evidence that:
- Our mailing list software has been compromised
- Our hosts have been compromised
- There are addresses I can go "ban" now

It appears that there are increasingly sophisticated 'bots that have  
automated the process of spidering for mailing lists to sign up for,  
confirming the signup, posting spam, them removing themselves from  
the list.

Up till now, the TechWG list has been such that membership has not  
required admin approval.  I have changed the list to require this in  
order to ferret out this new nuisance.
