His main task is the management of standardization efforts at Ecma, ETSI and IETF on call control/ signaling for multimodal communications, enterprise mobility and interworking issues. He is the chairman of the Technical Committee TC32 of Ecma International which specifies international standards for evolving enterprise networks and wireless PANs.
