Illinois Institute of Technology's VoIP Lab, where Industry and Academia meet, is proud to host the 5th Annual VoIP Conference and Expo this coming October 28 and 29, 2009. This two-day, multi-track, technical conference brings together technical professionals, executives, researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs from the data communications and telecommunications industries, their standards bodies, government agencies, and industry forums to share information and discuss topics of current interest and directions for the future.

"Bridging the Islands of VoIP" is a theme of this year's conference. Security, merged Web-Telephony applications, NGN networks and the various architectures and protocols that support these will all be addressed. The event includes panel discussions, keynote addresses, demonstrations and talks on topics including the development, deployment and commercialization of networks, products, applications and services related to IP Telephony and Voice/Video over IP.
