SIPit logoSIPit's, or Session Initiation Protocol Interoperability Tests, are week long events where people bring their SIP implementations to ensure they work together. SIPit Events are open to anyone with a working SIP implementation. The goal of the events is to refine both the protocol and its implementations. The SIPit events are a driving force shaping SIP into a globally interoperable protocol for real time Internet communication services. After 20 successful past events, SIPit 21 looks to be just as successful.

SIPit events are held twice a year, and membership in the SIP Forum is not required (though free SIP Forum Participant membership is encouraged.) Different companies or organizations host each event, and each host chooses the venue. SIPit 21 is being held in Bejing, China.

Full event details

The host for this event are the BII Group and the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). BUPT logo BII logo Detailed information about the event, including location, lodging, shipping logistics, regional information, etc., can be found at the host's website.
