Welcome Message

Since 1999, China VoIP + Next Gen Services Conference & Expo has tracked the continuous development of IP communications. Today, restructuring of carriers means the   “one network one service” model will give way to a converged multiservice structure based on an IP network. In this multi-service era the telecom business is about being able respond quickly to consumers’ changing needs.

For operators that means modular, horizontal service platforms on top of their broadband networks that enable rapid service creation. For application and service providers, it means being able to reach end-users through open, flexible application development platforms. Under the all-IP business model, telecoms growth will come from partnering and collaboration between carriers, technology vendors and application developers.

The 2009 program has much to offer by way of providing you with invaluable education. Over 30 keynotes, panel discussions and information filled sessions are planned over two days. You'll hear and interact with thought leaders, innovators, pioneers and distinguished experts who will share their knowledge, experiences and insights. Come join your industry peers by taking part in this outstanding conference.

I look forward to seeing you in May!

Jiang Lin-tao, Conference Chairman,
Chairman State IP Standard Commission, PRC
Chief Engineer, MII China Academy of Telecom Research

Welcome to a VoIP World

Welcome to a world of enhanced communication. Many of the new  and innovative voice and multimedia applications that are so appealing to businesses and consumers today are rooted in IP. Modern IP service networks integrated with softswitches, IMS, SIP, gateways, SBCs and other next generation architecture and technologies have been gradually phasing out costly and inefficient legacy infrastructure. Carriers, service providers, developers, equipment vendors and enterprises are currently leveraging a host of VoIP applications for revenue, productivity, cost savings, competitive edge, growth and much more.  The IP communications market is vibrant, with non-stop announcements of new devices, solutions, products and services coming to market.  New companies are constantly emerging, building their businesses successfully around IP.  To stay a step ahead of this rapidly evolving market, attend the China VoIP + Next Generation Services Conference 2009.  This two-day event in Beijing offers unique insight and knowledge into many exciting trends and developments.  It is as much a learning opportunity as it is a chance to network with 500+ potential partners, customers, investors and industry experts that share your enthusiasm, passion and interest in IP communications. Come find out what a VoIP future holds for you and how you can prepare for the opportunities ahead. Register today!

Explore carrier options and business strategies.
Service providers will need to carefully develop and implement fresh strategies in order to position themselves at targeted points in the value chain. Hear what steps operators can take to transition their businesses from today's voice-and-broadband model to the multiservice, multi-platform convergence model.

Find out the Future of Voice.
Voice is still the biggest revenue earner in the telecom industry, and will for a long time remain the single largest application. Voice business models are no longer just wireless versus fixed – now it is anywhere-anytime mobile versus low-cost or free calls as part of a service bundle. How can operators develop innovative services bundles and pricing options to keep voice customers?

Discuss new Service Platforms & Applications.
For multiservice carriers and their partners, the ultimate goal is to create compelling user experiences at affordable prices. What must operators do in order to play an enabling role, facilitating billing and settlements and leveraging their brand and customer base? How to ensure that services that meet customers’ needs can be quickly assembled and distributed by multiple partners using multiple technologies? What will application developers use to deliver the services differentiation and unique user experiences that will win customers and deliver ARPU gains?

Evaluate the evolution of IP network technologies.
IP is the foundation for next generation telecom services and horizontalization of service layers. What must telecom CTOs, network planners and designers, and application developers consider in this fast-evolving technology environment before they deploy or execute new platforms or services?
